SACRAMENTO, CA (August 25, 2023) – Sacramento's Sol Blume Music Festival, a beacon of R&B and soul music, marked its triumphant fourth year, attracting a record-breaking crowd of over 46,000 attendees from all corners of the world. The vibrant celebration took place over a weekend, reaffirming its position as a premiere event on the music festival calendar, and leaving an indelible mark on the city and its people.

Held in the picturesque environs of Discovery Park near downtown Sacramento, the festival has grown in leaps and bounds since its inception in 2018. This year's edition of Sol Blume was a spectacular showcase of music, culture, and community, drawing in music enthusiasts and travelers who journeyed from 48 U.S. states and an astonishing 15 international countries including Canada, England, Germany, China, France, New Zealand, and Japan.

Renowned for its focus on inclusivity and positivity, Sol Blume remained true to its mission, uniting locals and visitors alike in a harmonious celebration of music. Over 40 acclaimed R&B, soul, and hip-hop artists graced the festival stages, delivering electrifying performances that captivated audiences and reaffirmed the festival's significance in the music world.

The 2023 lineup featured an impressive roster of performers, headlined by Grammy-nominated artists Kehlani and Brent Faiyaz. These artists, who once graced small clubs in their early careers, returned to Sacramento to take the center stage and create an unforgettable experience for fans. Ella Mai, Jessie Reyez, Mariah the Scientist, Pink Sweat$, Jacquees, Chlöe, and others contributed to the festival's eclectic musical journey. Notably, Teyana Taylor made a rare festival appearance, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

The festival extended beyond the music, providing attendees with a range of experiences. Family-friendly activities, wellness sessions, immersive art installations, and local vendors added depth to the festival's offerings. The Sol Blume Butterfly House made a captivating return, allowing attendees to interact with live butterflies under the guidance of expert handlers. A wellness retreat featured yoga, meditation, drum circles, and tarot readings, offering a space for rejuvenation and connection.

In a novel move, Sol Blume set up a storefront activation in the Downtown Commons (DOCO) area, where exclusive merchandise and appearances from festival performers set the stage for the upcoming festivities. As the main event wrapped up each night, downtown Sacramento buzzed with late-night after-parties, featuring artists like Kehlani, Mariah The Scientist, Kalan.FrFr, and Noodles.

The festival's success wouldn't have been possible without the support of its dedicated sponsors. Industry giants such as Jack Daniel's, Tequila Herradura, Pandora, Red Bull, and D'USSÉ, among others, played a pivotal role in creating an immersive environment that merged music and lifestyle. Their interactive activations left an indelible impression on attendees, transforming the festival grounds into a dynamic and unforgettable space.
